iPad friendly apps are live

Our first two apps are going to 2.0 - Pepys Diary and New Daylight - they are now live in what is known as Universal versions  - this means that same app works on the iPad and the iPhone/Touch. We have added a number of iPad only feature such as quick navigation for portrait and landscape and tapping as well as swiping to move forward or back a page.

More quizzes - this time produced with Collins publishers of the Collins School Atlas series and the Times Atlas of the World. These quizzes are for young geographers (7 years old and upwards) see how much they know about cities, flags, rivers, oceans, mountains and many many more topics.

Our second app is now up. It is our first produced with leading Bible resources publisher, BRF, and is a subscription app for daily bible readings for one of their serial publications, New Daylight.

About us

Aimer Media develop new publishing models using the opportunities created by mobile app frameworks. Initially we are creating apps for the Apple iphone/ipod touch/ipad ecosystem, but as other markets expand we will include others such as Android and Kindle.

We believe that many forms of publication contain much more structure and "cleverness" than can been seen on the printed page, we are dedicated to bringing out as much of that editorial vision as can be squeezed into a download.
